Ukratko, svakodnevnih objekata i svakodnevnih fotografija. “My first encounter with the work by Dragana Nikolić was in 2010, via internet, request to send me the work for my new book was sent to her by email; our firstintroduction was via facebook. At the first glance, it may seems thateverything concerning Dragana Nikolić, is, like with the most of her generation,digital-virtual. But no. In her works digital is invisible. Her works arehandmade, home made. Full of hand written texts on the bodies of people, photographs. Collages made of everyday objects, fruit, vegetables, foodremains, tapes, toilet paper, rubber gloves, wire fences etc. But, nothing inher design is not everyday ordinary. Her estetics and the way she combines, embroids and knits that everyday objects and handwriting, raises all thatbeyond everyday life, home made, on the high level design. Design with the veryspecific look, taste and the view on life. That is why her seven posters willbe a part of Steven Hellers' and mine new book Stop Think Go Do, that is comingout in spring 2012.”
